✖ Senior Queen Clutch! We are very excited about our upcoming babies. Each one is hand-written for your candidate, never premade.
✖ THREADFALL (Currently on hiatus but will return after the dust has settled)
✖ Frequent flights
Alevynn Weyr, located in the lush, warm land of the Southern Continent, was founded in the 9th Interval to relieve the burden of overcrowded Weyrs. Alevynn was nowhere unusual, just a pleasant, insignificant Weyr. However, its status within Pern soon changed much later on when Gold Saravath rose and laid her infamous Clutch.
Strange colors manifested at her hatching, yellow dragons, a pink, a red dragon, and a strange purple dragonet who seemed to think herself a queen. It was not more than four years after this clutch that Saravath had risen again when her rider, Larena was struck down. The dying gold clung to life on the heated sands, her hide ever dulling until the last of her hatchlings impressed and her body snapped between. The same year that Saravath perished, Thread was due to fall, and with Purple Aseth's rising the weyr was granted a new Weyrwoman.
Feelings on the mutants are typically mixed and extremely polar, and relations with the holds had become strained because of it. Weyrwoman Nessaria and Weyrleader K'mir took great efforts to smooth ruffled feathers as much as possible before Thread began to fall, but the inexperience of the two has left tensions still running, even if much less so.
Recently Aseth has risen again and has been caught by T'anu's Bronze Emrudeth. With a change in weyr leadership, weyrfolk and holdfolk alike are watching carefully to see how the new pairing will work together.
We are still looking to take characters into key positions (1 Redrider, 4 more Bronzeriders, Wingleaders, Wingseconds, Headwoman, Wherhandlers etc) but now we are looking for candidates!
→ Kings, Queens, and ranking character positions are not jealously guarded. Most active members will find it possible to attain one or two of these dragons/positions.
→ Staying true to our timeline. Women and men in Alevynn play a much different role than they do on many other Dragonriders of Pern sites, and technology is limited.
→ Staying true to Pern. Aside from our Sport colors, we like to think of ourselves as mostly canon and follow basic guidelines for a Weyr during a pass.
→ Plots outside of Hatchings. Hatchings are central to the weyr of course, but we have plenty of fun in between them. That said, hatchings on Alevynn are more frequent, although more impressions will be NPC.

A brief OOC summation of Alevynn Weyr;
Alevynn is set in an alternate timeline 11th pass, AIVAS was destroyed long ago and characters like Lessa never existed to change the social structure of the holds and weyrs. Alevynn Weyr has been around since 2010, but in recent months fell inactive. We're making a comeback and can already boast fifteen accepted characters in our first month being open. We are still looking to take characters into key positions (1 Redrider, 4 more Bronzeriders, Wingleaders, Wingseconds, Headwoman, Wherhandlers etc) but now we are looking for candidates!
At Alevynn, a few things are very important to us.
→ Color ratios, which includes sport::canon color ratios, will be meticulously maintained→ Kings, Queens, and ranking character positions are not jealously guarded. Most active members will find it possible to attain one or two of these dragons/positions.
→ Staying true to our timeline. Women and men in Alevynn play a much different role than they do on many other Dragonriders of Pern sites, and technology is limited.
