I hope you're right Dharth. But you know him better than anyone so I am willing to trust your judgement on this one. Although come 7 or 8 months time and he still shows such a complete lack of interest I will not be very impressed, and I don't care how big and scary you are, I will be a big, angry, very pregnant woman, and I have heard tell that you don't annoy someone so close to giving birth. She was only half joking, after all Accalia was taking a gamble on this, she did not want to be left out in the cold by the pair yet again.
She nodded in agreeance, "There is very little to do now, it's all up to me at the moment I suppose. And I guess we don't have to organise it just yet, perhaps I am a bit anxious, after all there is still a long way to go before the child is born." Why she was not even half way through the first trimester yet, but Accalia had always liked to have everything planned out well in advance. She did not find surprises all that pleasant, and rather enjoyed being in control of a situation. I suppose I will have to be a little more lenient once I am a mother. She though to herself.

The big black tossed his head back, allowing a rumble of laughter to bubble up from his chest. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, eh? he chortled. My compliments for showing some backbone -- it is more than K'dran has done most of the time. Not that it would get him very far. The big black rumbled darkly. He was mostly putting up with the impudence from jade and rider for the novelty of it, and because he knew they had really nothing to back it up with.
K'dran looked relieved. "Sounds good. So, since we've got that worked out, I think I could probably get out of your way now." He heaved a sigh of long-suffering, rubbing the side of his face with his good hand. "And I really am sorry about you getting mixed up in this. Dharth's not an easy person to get along with, as you can probably already tell." The blackrider's voice sounded weary but sincere; he meant it this time when he apologized. He'd had to put up with the sadistic black for Turns, and through his apathy he was glad that Dharth was unusually restrained for his color.
With that said, K'dran turned and trudged out of the weyr, nodding absently at Rownith as he slipped into the tree cover and started making his way back to his own tree-bound weyr. Dharth seemed to be dozing; good, so K'dran himself could get in a nap of his own. Today had been a looong day.
