The Ways of Skrull are Three,
And these are Them:
First is the Way of Courage.
Only those who are armoured in life may stand on the sands.
Second is the Way of Will.
The dragons know that mindless herdbeasts are food, not riders.
Third is the Way of Mind.
Knowledge is the dominion of the gods, upon which we gladly encroach.
Together these form the Way of Honor.
Skrull is above, Skrull is beyond. We stand apart from the world and judge it in good faith.
Let no Wrong go Unpunished.
Let no Right go Unrewarded.
For the Ways of Skrull are Three and One.
And you shall follow them.

The Laws
Law the First: To live is to Obey. The Laws are followed.
Law the Second: Your word is your bond. Promises are kept.
Law the Third: Life is sacred. No violence shall be visited upon another outside of a duel.
Law the Fourth: The riders are valued. No mortal duels are allowed without the permission of the Weyrleader.
Law the Fifth: All people serve Skrull. You shall strive all your days to provide for the Weyr.
Law the Sixth: Strength in secrecy. No outsiders will be told the secrets of Skrull.
Law the Seventh: To stand is a privilege, not a virtue. No being may stand before the eggs without passing the trials.
Law the Eighth: Honesty is paramount. You will not lie, nor will you cheat your fellows.
Law the Ninth: All things are held in faith. If your fellow needs goods, you will not deny him nor ask payment.
Law the Tenth: Debts are paid. Even as no man will ever ask for what he is owed, it shall be that he never has to.
Law the Eleventh: Sloth is death. To walk in apathy is a greater crime than any, thus you will strive your hardest in all things.
Law the Twelfth: Blind obedience is foolishness. You will do what is right, not what is ordered.
Law the Thirteenth: The Weyrleader's will is done. He shall not be undermined in his authority, nor position.
These are the Laws, and they have been written.
