Name: Revanne
Age: 22 Turns
Gender: Female
Appearance: Slight and almost fragile of form, sun kissed, and with silver-green eyes the very shade of iced jade, twenty-two year-old Revanne was just now becoming beautiful. A late bloomer, it has only been a short while since her womanly features began developing. No longer is she flat-chested and baby-faced; instead the gold-rider is filling out quite nicely and has already attracted some attention from the opposite gender much to her dismay.
Her hair is usually short for someone from the Weyr, light brown curls framing her face and bunching around her jaw line rebelliously. It doesn't look like she puts much effort into keeping her hair tame, not that it is at all, but that's just the way she is. She can be seen holding it down with a translucent scarf sometimes, curls poking out from the sides and in a wave from the top, but this is only after she needs tokick someone's ass to do something. Her eyes are almond-shaped and are her main form of conveying her expressions.
She’s got a few scars here and there from working with machinery, but nothing major.
Revanne prefers simple, durable clothing, and usually wears trousers and a sleeveless jerkin. But she does enjoy wearing skirts or elegant gowns for formal occasions and those tend to be of colors she enjoys like blue or more earthy colors. She's got several pieces of jewelery from a specific set including a cloak broach shaped like a gold firelizard, with shining opals for its eyes, and a matching bracelet and necklace shaped like firelizards, both of gold and opals. During Gather time, she wears her hair in a circlet of the same set but normally keeps this in a box containing other special possesions.
Personality: A few descriptions about Revanne would be that she’s abrupt, proud, impatient, opinionated, blunt-spoken, energetic, a bit bossy, and that she’s not always very sensitive to others and their problems. Many agree that she’s difficult to get close to on a personal or emotional level, and to understand her mental persona is indeed a challenge within itself. Her mind is always running with the speed of a Southern wildcat and she’s always tinkering with some objects someone else would toss aside due to being raised in the Smithcraft. It can be described as sharp and analytical, she absorbs information like a sponge as a result, and is hungry for knowledge and new experiences.
But she’s not that developed socially, nor wants to be. Revanne isn't all that interested in the species of humans on the entire part, and although she is able to relate to some individuals that catch her fleeing interest they need to meet her rigorous standards and if they can get past her mannerism. In her personal and very important opinion, people are nauseatingly complex and untrustworthy; they are very frequently idiots, they are overly demanding, they are bothersome, and they never do things as well as you could do them yourself.
Her machines are a lot easier to comprehend and to manage; and dragons are straightforward, uncorrupted, and sincere at heart. They have no need for power or pleasures and are the ones who know you best. However don’t get her wrong, she fights for the few that come off as close to her level as possible and will sometimes, maybe, rarely, almost never help out an underdog or two. But don’t count on it.
She is one for whom first impressions count, and she’ll be quick to jot down some mental notes in permanent ink. If she is unimpressed with someone on first meeting it will take a lot to make her change her mind about them. She doesn't forgive blatant stupidity very easily and can be quickly exasperated, although she rarely really loses her temper or gets overly upset. She’s not at all flirty, and doesn't really respond to winks and whistles except for with hard and razor-sharp glares. She’s also known for her quiet, dry, satirical sense of humor and she is definitely one to be amused by the troubles of others if she thinks they brought the outcome on themselves.
Also, Revanne has a thing for respect. Because she’s a woman and has Impressed very highly, she feels as though she should demand respect more than any male who gloats and brags. And she does. Something else that she’s known for is that she feels that the merit of respect given to someone is something that one earns through their actions, and that an idiot with high rank is still basically an idiot.
Most see her as severe; she just thinks herself as higher than fools.
Biography: Growing up in Harper Hall, Revanne and her brother Adin lacked the love for music that her family shared with each other. The two were inseparable, for if one was seen, the other was not too far behind. Always laying outside with him, they would always watch the dragons flying back and forth from the Hall in amazement. It was from then on that they had decided that they wanted to be like them, flying wherever they wanted without a care in the world. Her parents oddly disapproved of this notion only in Revanne, but they did not pressure her too much into doing what she didn't want to do. She was such a sweet girl after all.
One day however, her brother and herself went out to the mountains on a little trip without telling their parents. There was Threadfall in that area that day, but the siblings had no knowledge of the upcoming occurrence, for they had left before anyone had the chance to tell them. They explored for what seemed like hours when an ominous silver fog appeared on the horizon. Watching it, Revanne had the instinct to run for cover and she did in a nearby cave, calling desperately for her brother to join her. He was too late, hypnotized by the sight, and he left Revanne to watch his death and hear his screams first-hand.
She was found later, a dagger of hatred for Thread embedded into her heart, and was saved from a nearby pack of wherries. Revanne did have a scar on her forearm from when she had tried to reach out and help her brother. A couple years later, the future Weyrwoman of Talune Weyr was found on Search and taken to Telgar Weyr, where she Impressed Gold Anuklith who had been completely covered in sand as a result of struggling with her wings. Wiping the scared dragonet who's color was unknown at the time's eyes clean, the future Weyrwoman had a different glaze, loving almost, for that day only. Later on into the Turns, her heart seemed completely iced over by then, still traumatized by seeing her brother die in a horrific fashion.
With the building of a new Weyr, she's been transferred over to Talune as its Junior Weyrwoman.
Status: Junior Weyrwoman
Place of Residence: Talune Weyr
Pet(s): None.

Dragon Name: Anuklith
Dragon Color: Gold
Age: 2 Turns (Has yet to Fly)
Personality: To sum it up in two words: very feral. Anuklith harbors an extreme sense of pride typical of color, never accepting help from anyone (not even her rider), even if she were to be howling in pain from Thread. She's always refusing and is quite the stubborn ass, but that's just the tip of the iceberg for those who have experienced her nasty side. Snipping, snapping, and nipping are what she does on a daily basis, and a favorite pastime of hers is to victimize the sun-bathing firelizards on the Heights or at the Lake. She considers them pesky little things, but they are always quick to get away and they leave her frustrated and in a fouler mood to begin with.
Anuklith is the kind of dragon that would make even the most starry-eyed Candidate never want a Gold, and this is a fact she enjoys perhaps a little too much. She takes pride in knowing that the Weyr's flits have already learned to between when they see any speck of orange or yellow, and will often comment on this fact. This Queen is extremely pigheaded and she has been known to go against anything her rider tells her to do, much to Revanne's dismay. Rather witty and at times sarcastic, it's obvious Anuklith finds some sort of twisted humor out of bothering everyone.
Very susceptible to flattery.
She has been known to exhibit extremely violent and unpredictable tendencies towards other females and clutches, so it might be best to keep your distance.
Appearance: Growing to a full length of 44 meters, Anuklith is on the larger side of the spectrum for queens, and she will not hesitate to flaunt this. Her lean frame shows off the wrapping muscles proudly, and with a large wingspan to match, she's far from being considered bulky and masculine. This Gold has a feline look to her like she's ready to pounce on anything that moves, though perhaps this is also due to the fact that she tends to slink about the Weyr like a Southern Wildcat. All of these factors have been passed down through the bloodline, like how her mother was of the same build and nature and so was the mother before her.
Her hide is an all around light reddish gold, with amber tints in the right sunlight. It's nothing too noticeable though unless you really stare.
