{I do not take credit for this it all goes to a girl named Jennifer]
Weyr: Black Sands Weyr
Name: Deved or by his new dragon name D'ved
Alias: The Holder of Hatred
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Rank: Weyrrider D'ymn, later on may be weyrsecond
Age: 29 turns just three weeks ago.
Appearance: D'ved has incredibly dark and spiky hair that is to the extent of two inches long. He never has it longer than four inches and never shorter than an inch long. In addition to all of this his eyes are a dark shade of blue that appears practically black. In contrast to his dark upper body he has an incredibly light skin tone that almost yells out albino but he isn't albino at all, in fact he's practically always outside.
He has a slim build that is tacked with rugged muscles showing that he's not all skin and bones at all. He has a slight scar on his back that s from his first attempt to get a dragon. He had sworn to vengeance saying that he would one day destroy that dragon and its rider utterly.
Since then he has always worn a sword made by the master of craftsman himself, alongside that he has a small dagger for throwing and cutting stuff right next to it. He always wears a black vest over his shirts for protection against arms but not flames. He wears dark green pants that match the forest colors practically once a week.
Personality: D'ved is the kind of man that you would only to refer to encase of big trouble. He hates being bothered by useless comments and even more by those that view themselves as superior to himself. He always says that anyone that needs help though is welcome to it from him. You see he is nice when he wants to be but otherwise you may want to back off immensely. He always has something or someone on his mind that he wants to be rid of.
Around those he admires...
How is it that a man can fall in love with another person of the opposite sex? How is it that they can't seem to agree on something or another? These are two of the many thoughts that D'ved has had. Interestingly enough he has never met a perfect girl...ever. His mind as many people say is a confusing and conflicting thing, always going against the heart and body.
A warm person at heart, but comes across cold.
D'ved always seems to cut someone off at the wrong time only trying to be nice. He gives off the vibe of being extremely cold because he is so blunt with the truth. If you were annoying him he'd tell you, if you were fat he wouldn't keep it to himself he'd tell you.
History: 29 turns ago...
The wail of a baby the cry of a mother and the tears of a father. These are all the emotions that were displayed so welcomely upon D'veds birth. He was born to a family of wealth and promise. From day one he was spoiled and treated like a prince fairly well, so well in fact that he is still used to being treated that way at times.
At the age of four turns D'ved had learned how to ride a runner and grow his own crops with help of course. His father saw greatness in him so he had contacted a Weyr for inspection for his child just in case he could exceed as a rider. How high of hopes the father had for his son...but it wasn't to last very long.
At the age of nine turns D'ved had impressed the dragonriders from a local weyr, and had been taken there. But none too soon D'veds family was murdered by bandits and commoners alike for their money. D'ved had only learned of these just two weeks after he had left his home. Upon hearing it he had made a solemn vow to never ever rest until those responsible for his parents death were dead.
Of fate and trust...14 turns ago at the age of 15...
At the age of 15, D'ved had attempted to impress his first ever dragon...that was a huge mistake...D'ved unknowingly had said something that obliviously the dragon didn't like and so when D'ved turned away thinking the dragon like him it stroked out at his back leaving a slight scar that is now a permanent reminder to him of his foolishness. At that he only kept to himself making another mental reminder about the dragons' appearance. And only five minutes later after being healed and returning to the sand pit he found his bronze dragon Hareth. He fell deeply in love with his dragon on first site and was easily swayed to feed him without even a notion from the dragon himself.
Ready to finish, and has yet to start.
D'ved stared at the large compound known as Crystal Caverns Weyr and sighed, this would be the last time he would see his home Weyr ever...He was just now banished because he had gone against the rules and attacked a commoner and killed him. The reason for this was because D'ved was already in a foul mood as it was not succeeding in becoming a wingsecond of any wing at all; the male commoner was attempting to get past him to see the dragons land down while D'ved was trying to go to his room for a break.
Bad mistake...D'ved now overly pissed grabbed the man by the throat and threw him against the wall as hard as he could have. As the man hit the wall there was a wet yet solid sound from the direction of which D'ved threw him toward. Upon hearing this many of the riders confronted the Weyrleader about it and all came out to the same conclusion, he had to go...Thus D'ved was sent away to never return hopefully.
Of riders and men...riding in the air.
"So my young friend are you going riding by yourself?" D'veds old ally Granety asked as he walked out from the large house that D'ved had recently taken hold of. This house was once D'veds. In fact it was the very house of which he was born in and that the bandits and many people lived at as well. It was only recently that D'ved had taken the house back and killed all the people that were involved with his family's murder.
"Yes Granety I am...I can't sit back anymore and watch my siblings succeeding while I myself am not..." D'ved spoke truthfully as he got on top of Hareth's neck. He then stared down at his old friend grant while saying softly to him, “Take care of everyone Granety I'll return as soon as I can..." With that he had flown off swiftly.
As he and Hareth flew off they talked about which Weyr they would join. It was concluded that they would join with Black Sands Weyr since they both knew going back to Crystal Caverns Weyrs would end up all the worse for them. As they flew onward they heard rather than saw a dragon’s defiant roar. It was near the Black Sands Weyr so they stop up way above it and looked downward. It was here that the unguided pair saw some struggle indeed.
'A silver dragon actually fighting? What is going on?' D'ved pondered as he and Harteh went down a little bit lower to see more of it. Then it all happened, he saw death, hurt, and destruction...it felt wonderful to see this once again. It was what the pair thrived on...
'Lets go down now Hareth and introduce ourselves...'D'ved and his dragon then flew downward in a great spiral. From afar it looked as if they were attacking but as they got closer D'ved held up his right hand in greeting as they swooped over the rider and its dragon. From his vantage point D'ved could see that it was a lovely looking female worthy of all admiration. 'Simply flawless in every way don't you think Hareth?'D'ved asked as they landed down about a couple hundred yards away from everyone.
Yes they both are...Hareth spoke softly as he allowed D'ved to get off after their trip. He then noticed that D'ved was still staring at the lovely female. Wow he's fallen head over heels... Hareth spoke to himself.
Present day time...after all that has happened....
D'ved stared outside the new compartment at the Black Sands Weyr and yawned. 'A bright and sunny day...full of emotions and the lamentations of riders. How...dreadful.' D'ved sneered to himself as he put on his clothes and walked out of the room and into the Weyr's halls finally. He was now offically Black Sands Weyrs' dragonrider and with that came responsibility to uphold the rules which D'ved of course would do if they were to his liking...
Father: Jaceb, deceased
Mother: Karin, deceased
Siblings: 2 siblings
Steven Harper's apprentice, alive, 25 turns, male
Meagan, Messenger, alive, 25 turns, female
Pets: None
Dragon Name: Hareth
Dragon Color: Blue or Bronze
Age: 15
Personality: Opposite of D'ved; Hareth is the kinder soul of the pair and the more relaxed one. He is rarely one to fight or summon a challenge but he is one that is very protective. So protective he is that he once killed a Lord Holder because the man drew a knife and motioned it toward D'veds back. This made D'ved really think about it and finding that his dragon and he were now near inseparable to the point.
Hareth always sees to it that he is fed at least once a week by his rider or anyone that passes even close to his room. Whenever he is abnormally hungry he would start rapidly sending mind messages to D'ved until he got food even if it was in the middle of the night. But in retrun for d'ved being extremely great to Hareth, he always trys to preform his best while doing exercises in the air. Whenever he lands though he makes sure that d'ved is okay and then he asks to be cleaned.
In a mid-air to upper-air fight Hareth is always one to hit and run against the people. He has never stayed against one opponent at a time seeing as that he's usually small then all the other dragons. He is like many other small dragons always varying in styles and acrobatics for battle. If he sees a weaker or slightly the same strength he may stay against that dragon and fight on till D'ved says stop or till death of one of them. He is after all an immensely loyal dragon.
Appearence: He is of a dark bronze color that seems to enhance his already muscular physique even more. His hide is always clean thanks to D'ved always attending him. He is always full of some sort of meat may it be game or Weyr food. His belly isn't rounded nor is it immensely skinny. It is all hard from the exercises that D'ved forces him to do even when he's full of food.
He stands a slight bit shorter than most bronze dragons but what he lacks in stature him more than makes up in ferocity. His claws are immensely sharp; sharp enough to exactlly emit a small noise whenever he walks on a stone floor. His teeth are sharp like most dragons and his neck would fit three riders perfectly although one or two would be more than comfortable.
As a riders' dragon Hareth is supposed to always obey the wishes of his rider and superiors. He once hadn't obeyed his superiors and as a punishment he has a scar on his left leg that resembles a talon scratch from a bigger dragon. This dragon that had done it was a different bronze which was much, much bigger than he was at the time; the reasons these are is mainly due to disobedience to is commnder in dragon matters.. He has other scars from his first few attempts to fly with D'ved as his rider. He was young and headstrong then always thinking he could do something he couldn't. Hareth
Striving for greatness, but destined to fail.
Reaching for heaven, while living in hell.
Anxious to take, but reluctant to give.
Fearful of dying, and hasn't yet lived.
Wants to bask in the sun, but a creature of night.
Keeps doing wrong, but wants to do right.
Trying to stay young, but feeling so old.
A warm person at heart, but comes across cold.
Has it together, but falling apart.
Ready to finish, and has yet to start.
