Channel Hold is a seahold on the tip of the penninsula where the Dolphincrafthall was in the Golden Age of Pern. It has a large fishing fleet and provides the Weyr with a lot of things derived from the sea both kept and sent to the Weyr as tithes. The harbor here keeps the boats from smaller seaholds in rough weather. Some of the smaller seaholds beholden to it have pearl divers who help supply the Jewelcraft with pearls for jewelry.
