Yes, like every Weyr, Talune has its fair share of duties and little guidelines and what not. Here is the list of what is to be expected from certain groups of people. ^^
////////
~Wing Duties~
Talune has three wings to boast of that carry certain duties out. Each rider character, once approved, will be randomly placed inside a certain wing (No, these are not the Thread wings that define who flys where/when when Thread falls; those are on the Talune folk page) and their creator must come here to view the specific duties of that wing and comply with their various regulations. Note that each wing has a color to it--one of the flag colors of Talune--and that a rider has a thread corresponding to his/her wing in his/her riding knots. The three wings are as follows:
Whispered Promise: The Whispered Promise wing is quite important to the Weyr, because this specific wing is assigned mainly to Searching and patrolling the Weyr territory. It is their job to comb through the Holds and find worthy candidates for any upcoming clutches and to make sure everything around Talune is up and well, particularly in the training of younger dragons and rider. For this reason, the Weyrling Master is always assigned to this wing, although not always in command of it. Any dragon sensitive to emotions is placed here, as well as a few dragons of the debating nature because sometimes the Hold Lords don't want to give up their young drudges or stable hands. Mainly composed of a select few Silvers, Greens, and Blues, with a Bronze/Brown/Silverwingleader to stabilize.
Misted Reason: The Misted Reason wing is known as the guards of the Weyr because they deal with Hold checkups (keep Nusa and Talune in fine order with their up-to-date Thread precautions) and make sure each Hold and its territory has a Watch dragon on duty, as well as monitor Weyr territories and boarders for threats. Hold Watch dragons are pulled from this wing mainly, so a good portion of the Weyr's Reds reside in this wing, as well as some fairly burly Browns for backup intimidation power. They are the first to respond to any Hold issue, and are also the ones who see that all tithes make the safe transition to the Weyr. Because of the specific nature of the Reds' and their abilities, wild flit clutches are also sometimes brought in by this wing seeing as they are primarily a Red wing. Bronze/Brown/Silverwingleader, Silvers, Browns, and Reds .
Blinded Vision: Blinded Vision is the "Weyr Wing". As the other wings take care of the Holds, this wing takes care of the Weyr directly, or representing it that is, hence its title, as well as the Craft Halls and their technologies. It deals in the workings of the Crafthalls as well as Talune's internal on goings and every high society function where the Weyr must make an appearance. This wing is often also called the Weyrleader's wing because it does contain the Weyrleader himself in it, but also because it is the first to go out to the Northern and Eastern Continents when issues are to be delt with. Important issues going on in Talune are always first discussed with these wingriders, and any event hosted by Talune is planned and coordinated by them. Oftentimes, some of these wingriders are even invited into the Weyr Hall to discuss things with the Weyrleaders. Dragons of any color and creed may be found here, but those that are are the champions of their color in either wit, size, or sometimes a combination of both. Composed of any dragon color, always led by the Weyrleader.
((Wing drills occur once every two weeks or so, and the leader of said wing has a responsibility to post a thread about his/her wing practicing drills and doing their duties listed above. If you are applying for a Wingleader position, it is your responsibility to remind your wingriders via pm to join in the drills.))

~Watch Dragon Duty~
Yes, if you are assigned watch dragon duty, you have to serve your sentence out. I know, the horror, right? Wrong. You only have to post once to show you served your sentence. There is a catch, though. Your one post has to go from the time you begin your watch (Your wingleader will tell you if you start at noon and serve till sundown, begin at sundown and end at dawn, or start at dawn and end at noon) to the time it ends and you must post how long that respective sentence is. Your post must be a minimum of 500 words. You can bring in flits to have your dragon play with and what not to spice things up, but mostly you will describe what is going on in the Weyr while you are watching. For a Weyr Watch dragon, post in the Watch Post. For a Hold one, post in the Hold. Once you have served your time, please PM me saying so s that I can check you off. I realize this is a lot to ask, but these types of things are meant to test your roleplaying skills and help you grow, not to torture you. ^^
Current Watchdragon on duty:

~Chores~
Yes, the horrid things assigned by the Weyrlingmaster to drive weyrlings/candidates utterly insane. The Weyrlingmaster will decide these things and who shall do them, as well as what they are. Currently, the position of Weyrlingmaster is OPEN, so apply and show how evil you can be. ;P
Day One:
Boys have to clean the runner stalls & attend to them.
Girls have tubbers to peel in the Kitchens

More will be added as seen fit.
