Welcome to Stormbrook, Massachusetts a town divided into four sides. North, West, East and South. Each part of town is different then the rest, each with its own personality. This city is run by the wealthy and the powerful, but like everyone else in this city, those that run these companies and have made at the top of food chain have their secrets too.

They are vampires and this city is their capital. Even the werewolves, whose origins date back as early as the pureblooded vampires, have made Stormbrook their base of operations. Silently taking over from the shadows, they have lived quietly amongst themselves, slowly hiding behind the large companies of this world.. The large companies that are a façade of wealth and power. Hording money, making connections to survive in this age.

The creation of the vampires and the werewolves dates back to the time when the earth was young, their connections to Lucifer courses though the original nine eight’s veins. He was the one who created them. To use them against Human’s that God had created to fill the empty void of this dark earth. After many failed attempts to destroy the original vampires, God did the next best thing: he gave them curses. He put on them nine of them deadly sins in which caused Lucifer’s downfall. One perfect flaw in their perfect design. One was more lustful then the rest, one was more lazy, one was more prideful, one had more anger then the rest, one was more greedy, one was more envious of the others, and one couldn’t control his thirst for human blood, one needed everything to be in it's proper order, and another couldn’t control his rebellious side. But he also cursed them with sunlight, the one thing that he knew they would miss the most, among other things.

Then something happened. The Rebellious one vanished. No one knows what happened to him. Some say that he was killed, others say differently. He has faded from everything but legend, yet no one truly knows what happened to him... and then Lucifer created the werewolves.

The two species didn’t get along and then Lucifer left them to kill each other off, which didn’t happen. Now the immortals and the Shapeshifters of this world have moved through the centuries, blending as the times passed, fighting the war between the two species. Not once did they hear from Lucifer or sense his presence any where near them. To them, he seemed to be a vague memory, something from a dream.

Now with vampires and werewolves roaming around Stormbrook and the rest of the world, slayers have come into the picture. Treaties were made and now the laws of change were put in place for both species, so the human population stays striving and they are the weaker. But now something else is walking the streets….

There are humans who are showing signs of vampirism have been called the infected, until the immortals can find the reasons behind their existence. Vampires are not the only ones who are not pleased with the sudden epidemic of infected individuals, so are the Werewolves, who still hold grudges from ancient times with the vampires, and lets not forget the slayers as this will make their job a whole lot rougher trying to figure out who is who… or what.

Crimes being committed Vampires not knowing if it were one of their own or not. Utter chaos… They look just like humans, smell like them to, but the glow in their eyes, the urge to eat raw meat and blood isn’t normal. They are the infected, infected with what though? That has yet to be discovered, all Vampires have come to find out that is they carry the same qualities, part of their DNA, but they can walk in the sunlight…

With the darkness that is lurking in its shadows, will Stormbrook survive the chaos that has began brewing, or will they fall into the rumble, out of existence forever?
