life is a game, a game never played by the rules; a game that everyone loses, especially when in the pits of hell.
two thousand nine has finally come to an abrupt end and naturally every camp is closed for the season, except for one; hawthorne ridge. hawthorne ridge is a year round camp for the most notoriously known trouble makers in the outbacks of australia, but what you don't know is that these trouble makers are dead, and very much in the pits of they're own personal hell. dr jean curious, a man of his word, created this camp, and is very capable of inhuman and equally supernatural stunts. nobody knowing of the whereabouts of hawthorne ridge, is the underlying purpose of why all the campers want to escape, but the question still remains; how will they escape if they are dead and only can be seen if dr. jean curious permits it. only the damned come here; only the sinners come here and soon you will become one. dr. jean curious is the reason why nobody can find it, and the reason why everyone is looking for it. everybody at this camp has sinned, in the form of violence or unsafe decisions and with a swipe of his hand you'll just be another damned soul, that people wonder about, but learn to forget.
oh, but this doesn't mean that they are completely transformed. their bad boy ways are hugely deceiving compared to how they act when they are behind the closed doors of hawthorne ridge. see, what is always failed to be mentioned upon entering hawthorne ridge is that it's caged; it's like a prison, except with no rules and more freedom. Freedom, meaning they won’t be stopped if they try to escape, because with every escape there is a secret, a secret that always brings them back. lies, and sins are the foundation of hawthorne ridge, and only with violence, and lies, does it thrive. the motto at hawthorne ridge is to terminate the bad boy ways that they live by and 'educate' them on how to act. but in actuality, what they are told to do they must follow; no questions asked. what is hidden is what you'll never find out and dr. jean curious make sure to keep it that way.
