Torchwood: outside the government beyond the police. Fighting Aliens thought time, across the stars as they gave up hope on the one person who was trying to help; the Doctor. Now they are no better than what they were before Canary Wharf. They are worse it seemed than what they started. It’s not everyone that works there; it’s just some of them. Who is good and who is bad? What if dreams come true? Even the bad ones which affect the entire universe? This is the story about when Torchwood's dreams-- Queen Victoria's dreams of finding the Doctor and putting him where they can watch him. The Doctor was captured by Torchwood Officials. That is when his adventures with Captain Jack Harkness ended. In fact a lot of things changed, the twenty first century is when it all changes they said but according to the Doctor it's all during the fifty first century. He is now in the hands of Torchwood, who hold headquarters in London, England by order of the Queen herself. Sure there are other offices like Torchwood Three in Cardiff, a branch in Scotland, the lost branch of Torchwood Four in Dublin, Ireland, as well as others across the world-- even a Torchwood Space Station. But the point is the Doctor is now in the hands of the people he was beginning to trust thanks to Captain Jack Harkness, who is still alive and handling things at Torchwood Three, but even Jack can't save the Doctor from Torchwood. No one can. He is all alone in the Universe, or so he thinks. Old acquaintances are coming back, both good and bad ones and with that old love returns with old feelings. One Day More before the storm . . .
