*~Standard Rules~*
1) First and foremost, there are presently only two Onyxes. That's all that's ever hatched, and both are presently owned and played consistently. This means that, sadly, you cannot upload a profile with another Onyx as your dragon. There will be opportunities in the future for more, but not at present.
2) On this note, both Onyxes AND Mimics are nontransferable between Weyrs.
3) Again with the Mimics, presently only three exist two of which are played consistently. Should the owner of the third not return to claim him, he will be up for adoption and you will need to fill out an application to have him.-His name is Folkvarth.
4) Talune is a haven of peace, tranquility. Malice shall not be tolerated here, and this means if you cause the death of another rider/dragon/candidate/etc., you WILL be banished.
5) Talune accepts transfers willingly, those who have been deemed "unfit" or "strange" from their respective Weyrs, usually. We are accepting of all colors and creeds, although you are likely to be given thorough once over, especially if you are transferring in with a dragon larger than the present Weyr King.
6) Talune dragons rarely shed the blood of others; their natures do not simply allow it, apart from the Mimics, and this is to be taken into consideration when you are making a character profile, especially for a weyrling or rider. You cannot simply decide to "spice up" their history by saying your dragon was so brutal they slaughtered candidates and their hatch mates indiscriminately, because, since the eclipse twelve turns ago, there has not been a recorded candidate mauling or death. The exception to this rule is a sole Mimic-caused murder from the previous Hatching of the clutch from Opal Linnelyth.

Other Rules:
On Flits/Pets: For flits, I have a personal preferred limit of two per person within this Weyr. Sorry, I just don't want a bunch of flits lazing about, especially when your dragon requires your attention as well. Other pets...Try not to have them as just profile things. Use them in your roleplay in other words. On this note, ONLY cannon flit colors are obtainable in Talune. If you wish them to clutch, please PM me and I'll send out the announcement to get some takers for your flit flight. After that, we can discuss what you'd like to have clutched and how many eggs. ^^
On other pets...Try not to use them only as profile things. In other words use them in your roleplay, and don't go crazy and have oodles of pets.
Whers: Whers come in the cannon colors for the Holds of Talune, although we do actually have some mutation colors available as well namely, the Opal queens and the Reds. We already have an Opal Queen Weyr lingering around the site (PM if interested in this character), so please feel free to use any other of the available colors should you chose to create a wherhandler for one of Talune's holds.
Weyrling:
NOT ALLOWED REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCES:
-Drinking Alchol. The effects of alchol can confuse a young dragon at such a tender age and you don't want to allienate them. Punishment for this is one month (about 1 week IRL) doing Kitchen Duties. Since this is a punishment you must post it.
-Having sex or another relationship that is "more than friends" with another person. If you don't get caught, woop-de-doo, but there is a mandatory 6-month (2 season) celibacy. Faranth help you if you're caught.
-Flying. Should you think yourself better than the Weyrling Master, and choose to take your dragon for it's first flight without permission, you will be scheduled to 1 week Kitchen Duty, 2 days Cleaning Duty and 2 days Inventory Work (IRL).
-Betweening. If you do this WITHOUT permission, the punishments will be severe. That is, if you don't end up killing your character by doing it. No matter what is done in the lessons, you and your dragon will not be allowed to fly for a season.
-Flits. Although there is no punishment, it will definitely seem to allienate either the dragon or flit. And we don't want that happening so NO FIRELIZARDS.

(By the way, Talune is pronounced 'Tay-loon'.)
