This lake near one side of the Weyrbowl usually has waters that are of neutral temperature, meaning they are frozen over in the winter and warm to cool in the summer. Dragons and firelizards are usually found basking here on the rocky outtrusts in the summer and riders can be found skating or sliding on the ice in winter.

Filled with goldenrod sand that is not too grainy, yet not to powdery, this Hatching Ground can fit two Queens and their clutches together (though we'll never do that xD). There is a draconic entrance that slops downwards into the hollow chamber, wide enough for it's users to land on the ledges high above. It is about 45 feet from top to bottom and along the sides there are wooden tiers with steps engraved into the rock beside them for viewers.

The life-sustaining sand is heated internally and makes perfect nests for the eggs, though is uncomfortable to human feet. The ceiling is half opened to curculate fresh air and sunlight, though only the mother is allowed to enter and leave this way when the Hatching has yet to begin, and the crashing of the adjacent waterfall can be clearly heard, a spray of water often coating the mother as she rests with her eggs. There is a east entrance for Candidates and a west one for Viewers, the latter leading to the tables placed with food.

Yes, this is where Redriders and Greenriders find themselves spending some of their time when their Wingleaders assign them to this task. The Watch Post is its own ledge stationed opposite of the waterfall, overlooking the entire Weyrbowl. There is enough space on the ledge for two Blues and their riders, so the smaller Crimsons and Scarlets can fit with ease. Flits congregate here in large numbers at any time during the day.

Consisting of several rooms linked together, this is a place dedicated to making people well. There is a room with several beds for those needing a healer's constant attention. There are also rooms where the Healer's and their apprentices live, along with offices for the Healers and their records. Another rooms houses an apothecary full of sundry herbs set to cure, vials, and dried powders. It smells of numbweed and many other remedies. Shelves and chests line most of the walls, making use of all the space they can. It's also where clean linens and sterile bandages are stored.

Many caverns and tunnels of the like reside here. It is usually filled with people coming in and out of storage with hides or boxes, but is by opinion on how boring a place to be it is. Candidates and drudges will work here daily sorting the stuff, gathering herbs or food, or just rewriting hides. Drudges will work full time, and Candidates will do chores until they Impress.

At ground-level this area has an entrance from the Weyrbowl on the right side, opposite that of the Infirmery. It is a large space when you first enter and it then into a small one after you've been working there for so long. There is an entrance to the Lower Caverns here on the other side and not to mention various tables with piles of prepared and unprepared food sitting on them. There are several pits for cooking herdbeasts here and more than enough hearths for meaty stews.

This is a room connecting the the very weyr of the Weyrleaders. This is where important conversations are held about tithes, Threadfall, Holds, and other things of the sort. Only those invited by the Weyrleaders may attend.

Dragons and riders that have completed Weyrling training are moved here, to their own Weyr. Each leads to an enormous underground hot spring, where bathing occurs. The size and location of the weyr often depends upon the size and rank of the dragons; Weyrwoman's weyr (later Weyrleaders') is the highest up, followed by the Queens, the Kings, and then the Males and Females who are all of equal rank. They are usually simple, with a bed, table and chest and a couch and ledge for the dragon.

Once Impression happens, former Candidates are moved here where they and their young dragonets are to spend the next Turn and a half. Separated into the Girls' and the Boys' Wings respectively, each Weyrling Barrack of the same gender Weyrling is connected. Outside there is often a pail of meat for your dragon and a list of the day's chores.

After being found on a Search, new candidates are brought here, were they will stay and live until they Impress. They are also separated by gender, as are the bathing rooms. There is a common room where they may mingle and rest that has a rather fine coating of dust on it from recent construction. In their spare time, they will complete chores in the Lower Caverns, which they find out about on a board in the common room.

Here the female dragons of Talune Weyr may Rise. Try to keep the content PG 13 unless noted otherwise, and you may request a private board or use PM if things become too heated. The player of the female dragon is in control of the Flight, so males, don't try and take charge.

Talune Weyr's first Hold, Talune Hold is famous for its fishing, and small and medium-sized boats are often seen coming to and from the docks. They supply their Weyr with necessary fish, wherries, and tithes, receiving protection from Threadfall in return. This Hold was soon established just months after the Weyr was, no doubt made to protect and help each other respectively. It is situated on a small island off the coast.
