Oh yes, just there, it itches so much! Keep scratching please Mine! The last came rather plaintively. Zombith was growing. And itching. And growing. And itching. And... well you get the idea. T’kah obliged and scratched the offending area gently, before dumping a load of sweetsand over the top of the Bone. The youngster had insisted on a bath that morning, as he put it ‘to look his best for everyone else’. T’kah had creased his brows together at this. Zombith seemed to have an unholy fascination with attention. The more he got of it, the better. And whilst the lad was more than happy to oblige, lavishing him with all the love he could want, it was perhaps starting to irk some of the older dragons when one so young flaunted himself so blatantly.
Oooh, that feels nice. A croon followed, as the dragon’s eyes closed in momentary bliss. Then he thought of something. Mine, remember to do in between my ridges properly, you don’t want to miss any bit of me! And ugh, it itches between them so horribly sometimes. He stretched his neck out for t’kah to do exactly as he said, whilst crooning away to himself. T’kah rolled his eyes. “Yes sir!” he said mockingly, but with love in his voice. The dragon had definitely kept him on his toes since the hatching. Remember to do this, remember to do that. Oh and while we’re here, shouldn’t we really be doing that? It seemed never ending, but at least it kept him occupied.
Splashing his way back to the shoreline, he shuffled through his discarded shirt and trousers until he found a soft bristled brush. Zombith turned his head to look back at his rider, eyelids peeling back to watch what His was doing. Ah, that would feel so much better! And so it did. T’kah dunked the brush into the water to get it good and wet before resuming his task. There seemed to be a lot more dragon to clean, even from yesterday. And daily cleaning had become a routine for the pair, as Zombith wasn’t happy if he felt like so much as a speck of dirt lay on his hide.
T’kah had to chuckle to himself. He’d still have to go rinse the dragon down after this bath anyway – saltwater wasn’t particularly great for a sparkling clean hide. In fact, it had the darned tendency to crystallize and crisp up. But, Zombith was adamant that the sea was the best place to bathe, and so the sea it was.
Zombith was in seventh heaven. He was clean, he didn’t itch and the sea was lovely and warm. He opened his wings. T’kah eyed him warily and ducked just in time to avoid the swipe of the bony protrusions as Zombith flapped to create waves. The Bone’s chuckled bubbled over mentally. His glee was evident.
“Go on, you go and rinse yourself off! I’ll need a wash myself after all this!” The sandy haired boy slapped his dragons side playfully then watched him bound off into deeper water. He was a sight though. Wings spread wide to rest of the top of the water, they helped his natural buoyancy further. Zombith ducked his head under the water, before crashing upwards to pounce on some imaginary thing. How long do we have? T’kah thought , and shrugged. Judging by the sun in the sky, it wasn’t that late. “I’ll let you know when we need to go dear one, you can play a while longer yet.” Zombith’s response to this was to create more artificial waves, almost making his rider loose his footing. Dripping wet from the splash attack, T’kah ran his hand through his hair and grimaced . That would definitely want cleaning later on.
He half walked half swam his way back to shore, laying himself on a rock. In just his underwear, the sun would dry him off in no time, despite the early hours. It was nice to get up so early, because then he could watch his bonded play amongst the waves before the days’ work began. Also, it meant that getting up at a regular time was helping his body clock to reset itself – there’d be fewer late mornings and hopefully even fewer rude awakenings in their future. Closing his eyes, he relaxed, listening to the calls of the morning sea birds. They had some time to go until chores and lessons for the day started.

The young man was stalking the beach, although he wouldn't have called it stalking in any shape as he told himself and others countless of times before. He was far too good to stalk like a common thief or anything of the sorts. He would've called it... walking instead, without being noticed of course. The ever present smile played around his lips even now and his limbs seemed to wave in every direction when he lost focus for a moment, nearly making him fall to the ground. The man had to call attention to his walking again and stay focused, that happened at times. He spotted movement not too far away and slowed for a moment, not someone he recognized, but then again. That also tended to happen a lot when he was buried more in someone else's bed than spending time walking around and spotting people.
"A pleasant surprise." The words where whispered underneath his breath, finally pushing himself forward once more. He slowly took in more as he approached, the splashing scene, the dragon that moved to deeper water and leaving their rider alone. It was almost a foolish thing, he mused. Some dragons should know better than to allow him closer, not that he hurt them in an unpleasant way. The smile that hadn't disappeared, widened into a smirk for a moment and then fell back into a charming little thing. The youth was quick to come closer, but he wouldn't lower himself to running. He took in more and more and what he saw, he liked. The other youth wasn't displeasing to look at from what he saw.
Nonetheless Aitvaras chose to watch for a moment longer, waiting to see what the other youth would do. The other only laid down, in his underwear, he noticed as first and that was very much appreciated in his eyes. The smirk nearly appeared again and he stopped, throwing T'kah' face in the shadow and he bend down ever so lightly "While the sight is pleasant." He commented, voice light and amused "It would be a shame to see it burned." He finally straightened and sidestepped, he need not have worried as the other man's skin was quite dark, darker than his either way. His gaze turning to the Bone still splashing in the water, hands moving to his back and clasping together. A smirk finally staying to play around his lips "Although I think you will not have to worry about that, hm?" His blue eyes turned side-ways then, chin slightly lifted. An arrogant pose.

Zombith was too happy playing in the waves to notice the appearance of another male on the beach. Indeed he was beside himself with joy as a fair of the diminutive fire lizards had arrived, crooning to him as they dipped and dived into the water, creating even more fun for the young weyrling. The bone amused them by dipping his nose under the water and blowing bubbles. In return, they gave him their version of applause and further proceeded to splash and frolic about him. They were all fascinated by his colouring, remarking in their simple minds that he was something very different and they liked it. Zombith all but glowed with the attention. He was more relaxed now that he had been assured that they had a little while yet before the days chores began. The last thing he wanted was to be late, and for his to be late, but for now, it was playtime. Stretching his pinions across the surface of the water, he looked odd to be certain. Every time a flit swam too close to the sharp appendages, he moved them very gently so as not to injure his new friends. They showed no fear however, whether this was due to courage or stupidity, no-one could tell.
Meanwhile, T’kah had been laying quite peacefully on the rock, his mind occupied by musings. Simple things like what dinner would be today and would that pretty girl be there again? A small smile crept across his face when he thought of her lovely form. What he wouldn’t give to… hello? A shadow suddenly blocked his sun, causing him to crack a brown eye open. Squinting upwards, he saw another youth. And not too bad looking either.
He let the words play over his ears before cracking into a grin. Rising to a seated position, he scooted over a bit, offering the young man a seat beside him. “Flatterer.” His tone was playful, light even. Taking the full measure of the man beside him, he wasn’t certain he’d seen him around before – of course he could be mistaken as his time had been so fully consumed by Zombith as of late. But, he mused to himself, he would certainly have noticed this one before. He offered a dazzling smile before introducing himself. It was only polite after all and… well a little manners could certainly go a long, long way.
As the sun was once again cast on his skin, he stretched in its warmth, like a cat might. He revelled in the sun, loved it absolutely. The movement let the light play skilfully over his flat stomach. He was a terrible flirt by nature, whether he realised it or not. He raised a brow at the seemingly imperious youth. “And might I have the pleasure of knowing your name?” He leaned back on his elbows to assume a much more comfortable position. The fact that he was just in his undergarment hadn’t struck him as of yet, and even if he gave thought to it, the lad probably wouldn’t so much as blush. Heck, the human form was a natural state, and he actually much preferred to go about in the buff. Unfortunately society dictated that this was imprudent and somewhat distasteful, so he tended to keep such exercises confined to his and Zombith weyr. Still, if he could get away with it, T’kah would often grace the beach in nothing more than shorts.

Aitvaras kept looking at the flits as they darted around the Bone, it was oddly amusing after all. He could admit to himself that he would spend hours watching them if he hadn't more important things to do. The important things including flirting and exploring other people their bed whenever he could. It was an odd sight though, the careful movements of wings to avoid injuries. He could care less if they got hurt and wouldn't go out of the way to do harm to one 'accidently'; he wasn't cruel enough to cause harm on purpose, he wasn't one who liked flits very much. They always seemed to interrupt something important when he was doing something important, yeah. He shook his head and focused his attention back on more important matters, like talking and flirting. He was best in flirting, never did anything else when he could help it.
The youth kept his position for a moment longer, long enough to see a brown eye crack open. It was a lot different from his own. A mental shake of the head dispelled that thought and he grinned, soon answered by another when his words registered in the other youth's mind. He kept his distance after having side-stepped, but took the offered seat with a small sigh. His legs folding underneath him. His form slightly stretching and a satisfied expression appearing on his features as shoulders cracked lightly. This, in his mind, was the very picture of a nice day. The sun, being almost entirely alone in pretty company and hopeful an enlightening conversation in a few.
His grin widened, somewhat pleased that the other wasn't trying to evade his flirting and seemed to accept it. That was a nice change for once, although he did say that about every catch that seemed willing "And obviously you don't mind it." He retorted, not even thinking about it. The smile would have blinded him if he was anyone else and not used to the ways of flirting, but instead he just looked at it and nodded ever so lightly when he was given a name to go with that face. T'kah. Not an unpleasant name, maybe hard to shout admits doing other.. things. It didn't matter however, at least not now. He really should've stopped his thoughts from turning in that direction every time, but he liked that direction very much and didn't put as much thought in staying away from it as he should.
The Candidate admired the fact that the other could enjoy the sun like that. He most of the time had to leave its harsh rays in fear for burning. He didn't burn quickly like the palest of people did, that was at least one thing that he was grateful about right now. Also, Aitvaras found himself staring, maybe not as subtle as he wanted. But who wouldn't at such an absolutely stunning sight? It was clear that Aitvaras didn't mind the lack of clothing that the other sported. He would actually prefer to see a total lack of clothes. The other man knew how this worked very well though, working with the sun like that. It could prove interesting though. He was then asked for his name and shooting a quick glance he smirked "Aitvaras." He replied, giving an easy shrug as if it didn't matter. He was used getting addressed by other names after all.

A quirked eyebrow and a furtive smile acknowledged the other youth’s gaze. Aitvaras was it? Well now, he’d heard some things whispered about him and well, they weren’t all bad. T’kah had to hand it to him though – if the rumours were anything to go by, then this one was more active in certain ah, exploits, than even he was. But again, that wasn’t a bad thing really now, was it? The lad had to smirk at his train of thought. Especially since Aitvaras had seated himself comfortably. That fleeting expression of pleasure was all that was needed to set his imagination spinning. It had certainly been… a little while at least.
T’kah shrugged his bronzed shoulders when the lad retorted about his not minding flattery. “Meh. I tend to find those who get all uptight about a little compliment have a stick up their ass a dragonlength wide.” He snorted softly. There was nothing wrong with a little flattery here and there, so long as it wasn’t laid on too thick. Unfortunately, those cynical individuals out there didn’t seem to realise this – to them flattery was meant as an affront, with the other person trying to get something from you. Why should it have to be that way?
Shaking that notion away, he resumed his amiable tone. “So, what brings you this way so early in the fine sunny morning we have here?” He all but licked his lips at the sight of the man as he spoke. It was rare to find another so flagrantly attractive and extroverted. Oh yes, that line of thought was rather getting to be quite nice… Well, that is until a niggling sensation crossed his memory, a thought trying to surface of something he hadn’t quite remembered. He shrugged it aside and stretched himself again, feeling a few of his vertebrae pop back into their proper position. Now that felt good and he sighed with contentment.
Zombith however, was feeling his rider’s amour. Raising his head swiftly from the water where he had been blowing bubble for the little cousins to play with, he looked from side to side confusedly. What was this feeling? Mine, you are feeling strange, are you okay? It wasn’t unpleasant, but it was unknown and making him a little uneasy. The young dragon shook his head before staring back at the beach. There was someone with His! And they hadn’t even acknowledged him! The bone rumbled as deeply as he could to attract attention. His small stature however, didn’t give the noise much timbre, but sound carries by water.
T’kah quickly shot his gaze over to his dragon, concerned by his words. Shards! That’s what he’d be almost remembering earlier!
”If you value your dragons, you must not, I repeat, NOT enter into any kind of sexual relationship until they have matured. To do so could confused the young creature and could even set off premature flight instincts, which of course can be dangerous if they are not fully grown…” The weyrlingmaster’s words echoed around his mind and T’kah’s skin flamed red as he realised his thoughts had most definitely been of the saucier variety. He hadn’t even realised that he might have been broadcasting them to Zombith! Nothing is wrong my friend, I am sorry/ His metal tone was full of chagrin. Zombith, in the process of splashing his way to shore, crooned anxiously at the turn of emotion. He fixed Aitvaras with a pointed stare, his eyes whirling faster as he observed him. Then he promptly turned away and sat himself down in the sand.
T’kah grimaced apologetically at the other man, and then realised what Zombith was doing. “You silly wherry! You just had a bath and now you’re all covered in sand!! He leapt up to chivvy the youngster up and back into the water, muttering all the way about having twice as much work to do. But it was nice and warm. And anyway, I wanted to know who it is you were talking to. He is rude not to have said hello! Zombtih again directed a glance to Aitvaras, before bounding dwon to the waves again. But now he can help you wash me! That will be a good enough apology for ignoring someone like me! T’kah had to chuckle aloud at this, then relayed the message on, having to raise his voice a little to be heard over the splashing. “If you wouldn’t mind ,that it!” He called, hoping that the fellow would oblige. So much for the outcome T’kah had hoped for. He’d just have to take care to shield his thoughts a little better from the Bone, for Aitvaras was certainly worthy of a stray thought here and there. He couldn’t in good heart blame Zombtih for the death of his sex life, but by Faranth he’d be glad when the dragon was fully grown!
