Weyr: Black Sands
Name: V'liran
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual, leaning more towards heterosexual
Rank: Wingrider
Age: 33
Appearance: V'liran is of average build, though this has nothing to do from his turns as a dragonrider. He's one of those lucky few people born with muscle, and doesn't really have to work too hard to keep it there. Standing at about six foot even, V'liran has little to distinguish him aside from his brilliant, honey hued eyes and his mischevious look that's written into just about every line on his face. The turns have teated him quite well, and not an ounce of gray or thinning hair borders his temples or makes a break in his short, spikey brown locks. He used to take the liberty to sport a gotee, though it has aged with him and turned to a trimmed and well kept beard. He isn't intimidating by any means, at least not in appearance, and could never be, but anyone with experience around him knows better and regards that devilish glint with caution.
Personality: V'liran is quite the silver tongued devil. He can just about get out of damn near anything, and all because he's honed his lying skills to utter perfection. Only Kylinth knows exactly when he's fibbing which, through habit, has taken to a good chunk of the time: one can nevcer really know if he's chosen to be truthful or flat out lying to you. It's a tad difficult for him to be serious because of this, but he does understand the need for it at times and, reluctantly, gives in to that 'non fun' side. Speaking of fun, this Illusionrider stills has his fair share. He's a drinker, and wont admit it but he's that 'I love you' kind of drunk that always seems to come back and nip him in the butt. As far as pranks go...He's not so inclined to do them himself as much anymore, but he's taken to the weyrbrats and begun teaching them terrible little habits that the Headwoman is always scolding him for when she catches him 'corrupting their little minds'. His mindset is something to the effect of. "They're going to be exposed to it sooner or later; might as well be to your own terms than elsewhere."
History: V'liran's family transfered from New Cove close to forty turns ago to help populate the new Black Sands Weyr. His mother brought him when he was just a babe, his father transfering out of order rather than choice as his mother had. For the most part, his family never associated together aside from when they came together to give him a turn's end gift one a turn. He had jsut been an interruption in their lives, though his dear mother was always reminding him against such distructive thoughts. She took it upon herself to always have the lad busy because, growing up without his male role model, he began to act out as any child does. He was always in trouble, spying on the queen's eggs before the candidates got a chance to see them, teasing other weyrbrats, and creating a general commotion wherever her went. He was taken in under the strict Headwoman's watchful eyes several times and given the cruelest and oddest chores to keep him busy, but it never failed to repress his taste for bending and breaking the rules.
When he finally managed to become a candidate at twelve turns, he found himself denied and confined to another turn of worthless tasks that now consisted of watching some of his friends go about learning with their new bondeds. He couldn't deny he envied them, and even resented that they had Impressed and left him behind but, with time, he forgot all about it and, when the next clutch found its way onto the sands, he stood once more. Fate had seen fit to grace him with one of the Weyr's most beautiful creatures: his Kylinth.
Mine, I need to be fed. Now. Lets not waste a moment, because, I can tell, we are going to be up all night plotting how to make our first day as weyrlings terribly fun.
Father: V'rian of Brown Lionisith-Deceased

Dragon Name: Kylinth
Dragon Color: Illusion
Age: 20
Personality: Kylinth is impossibly cunning and delightfully manipulative, the perfect pertner for his bonded. There isn't a situation he couldn't get himself and His out of, even if what had happened ended up being his fault in the first place. He's quite the smooth talker, and adores a good argument every now and then, but other wise dislikes much of conflict. He's an abnormal pacifist for his coloring, but doesn't consider harmless pranks that he helps His with and also teaches the weyrlings anything to break his strict sense of what it morally right and wrong. He tolerates a grand deal of things, and wont normally speak up against authority unless he feels as though it contradicts his system of 'morally right and morally wrong'. For some reason, a thought often shared by his color, Kylinth cannot tolerate anything that comes from the mouth of a Green. He just...No. It doesn't work; they're too scatter brained for his liking.
Appearance: Kylinth, like every other Black Sands dragon, has that same six pointed black star on his right flank, but his almost fades entirely into the blackness of his hide. Unless one looks very closesly, you cannot even see the outline of it. The hue of his hide is a dark, even, slate gray, with that same metallic sheen or the rest of Black Sands's dragons coating over it and making it appear as though he is perpetually being oiled from the sleekness of it. He stands at a grand total of 33 meters in lenght-nothing too long, but nothing too small either: just right there in the middle and perfectly average. His wings and tail are thicker than most of his brethren, but allow for better balance instead of throwing him off in the air like one would imagine. The turns to him, just as to his bonded, have treated him quite well, and this Illusion still looks and acts as lively as a dragon half his age.
Other: As far as ability goes, Kylinth hasn't yet reached the size he'd like to look in his illusions. He's pretty much mastered the smaller ones, but it still stuck with doing anything above a medium sized Emerald. He's far less talented with coloring, and has only actually mastered three shades: a dusty bronze, a lime green, and a pale blue.
